The Miami-Erie Bed and Breakfast lies on the banks of the historic Miami- Erie Canal, which was used in the settling and establishment of many towns in Ohio. 

 

A Three mile bicycle trail of crushed stone path flows from the downtown Historical Park in New Bremen, Ohio to the north edge of Minster, Ohio which runs along the west side of the Miami and Erie Canal. A widened asphalt sidewalk allows access on the side of the roadway extending the trail over a pedestrian bridge to Seventh Street Park in Minster. The Park roadway and the paved alley to the south continue along the east side of the canal.
